Monterey

Noelle took her second trip to Monterey. 6 months makes a huge difference! As soon as we walked into the aquarium she got really big eyes and started making the sign for fish.

This was a big weekend for Noelle. She learned a few new signs - flower, more and ball. She also started saying baby and flower. She is also getting good at walking while we hold her arms.

Mom's Group 1st Birthday Party

Our Mom's group celebrated our babies 1st birthday together. It has been amazing to watch the babies grow up over the past year. We met everyone when Noelle was 6 weeks old.

fish & dogs & other exciting things...

Noelle has learned a couple of signs in the past week or two. She can make the sign for fish and dog. When she does the dog sign she also says daaah, which we take to mean dog. Most times she gets the signs right when looking at her picture books, but sometimes it seems like she just likes signing fish and dog.

Visit from Grandma & Grandpa

Grandma Flo and Grandpa Ed came from Hawaii for a visit. They were able to make it to Noelle's birthday party (yea!).

This weekend we celebrated Noelle's first birthday. We had it at a local park and it was a perfect day for a party. Noelle of course was wondering what all the fuss was about.

Summer Fun

Here's what's been going on this summer...

Noelle had her last swim lesson yesterday. I'm not sure she learned anything about swimming but we learned lots of new songs.

11 months old already?

Noelle turned eleven months old last weekend. She is growing so fast. Every day she seems to come up with something new to show us. She pulls herself up to a standing position with ease now and is crawling all over the house getting into just about everything.

Just about to crawl away. Noelle won't stay in one spot for long.

We spent the night in Modesto with Eric, Susan & Morgan (Brittany was out of town). We got to visit Susan's new shoe boutique, Bonnie J. It is so cute with stylish shoes, and I found 2 new cute pairs to bring home!
